Reptiles/ Crawlies:
Reptile aquariums are land-based, and three main styles are used.
Tropical: Areas of heavy rains or ample water sources provide high humidity. Tropical styles come with the most variety. Live plants can be added to the habitat. Tropical can often be semi-aquatic, which gives the greatest flexibility when design comes in. Aquariums housing amphibians are almost exclusively tropical.
Desert: Some reptiles and insects come from the deserts, these animals prefer low humidity.
Moderate: Typically employing a dirt or wood shaved bedding and generally humidity stays between tropical and desert. Moderate-style habitats are most commonly used for snakes.
